Terms and Conditions of Sale – RACEET

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "TOS") govern all sales of products marketed under the RACEET brand, including hybrid ceramic wheel bearings intended for motorcycle, motocross, karting, and high-performance cycling applications.

Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these TOS, which prevail over any other document unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by RACEET.


1. Seller Identification

The products are marketed by the company operating the RACEET brand. Full legal information is available in the Legal Notice section of the website.


2. Products – Technical Specifications

The products offered are hybrid bearings incorporating silicon nitride (Si3N4) balls and high-precision treated steel races.

Descriptions, visuals, and technical data are provided for informational purposes only. RACEET reserves the right to make any technical modifications aimed at improving product quality or performance without entitlement to compensation.

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Verifying product compatibility with their equipment
  • Following technical recommendations
  • Proper installation in accordance with industry standards
  • Regular product maintenance

3. Orders

Orders become final upon full payment confirmation. RACEET reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of:

  • Obvious pricing error
  • Product unavailability
  • Suspected fraud
  • Unresolved prior dispute

4. Prices – Payment

Prices are indicated in euros (€) or in the displayed currency. They may be shown excluding or including taxes depending on the destination.

Any customs duties, import taxes, or administrative fees outside the European Union remain the responsibility of the customer.

Payment is due immediately upon ordering. RACEET retains ownership of the products until full payment is received.


5. Delivery – Transfer of Risk

Products are shipped internationally. Delivery times are indicative only and do not constitute a contractual commitment.

Risk transfers to the customer once the goods are handed over to the carrier. Any claim related to transport must be reported to the carrier upon delivery and confirmed in writing within 7 days.


6. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with European regulations, consumers have a 14-day withdrawal period from the date of receipt.

Products must be returned:

  • Uninstalled
  • Unused
  • In original, intact packaging
  • Complete and undamaged

Any installed or used product will not be eligible for refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


7. Commercial Warranty – 12 Months

RACEET hybrid ceramic bearings benefit from a limited commercial warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers manufacturing or material defects only.

The following are excluded:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Incorrect installation
  • Improper mounting
  • Lack or insufficient lubrication
  • Damage due to impact or over-tightening
  • Use outside technical specifications
  • Exposure to incompatible extreme conditions

The warranty is strictly limited to replacement or refund of the defective product.


8. Liability – Limitation – Personal Injury

RACEET products are mechanical components intended for installation on vehicles or performance equipment. Their use involves inherent risks associated with mechanical or sporting activities.

The customer acknowledges that:

  • Installation must be performed by a qualified person or professional
  • Torque specifications and installation guidelines must be strictly followed
  • Regular inspection of bearings is required

RACEET shall not be held liable for damages resulting from:

  • Incorrect or non-compliant installation
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Product modification
  • Improper or extreme use

RACEET's liability is strictly limited to the amount of the product concerned, excluding any indirect damages, loss of profit, or intangible losses.

In accordance with applicable product liability laws, RACEET may only be held liable for bodily injury or material damage within legal limits and only in the event of a proven product defect.

No limitation applies in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or where prohibited by law.


9. Force Majeure

RACEET shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from force majeure events, including natural disasters, labor disputes, logistical disruptions, pandemics, administrative decisions, or global shortages.


10. Intellectual Property

The RACEET brand, texts, visuals, technical data, and graphic elements are protected by intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.


11. Applicable Law – Disputes

These TOS are governed by the law applicable at the registered office of the company operating the RACEET brand.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first. Failing this, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the courts of the registered office, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
